2.USE OF INFORMATION
- Provide, maintain, improve, and develop new products and services, including to debug and repair errors in our Services;
- Manage our membership, program and events;
- If you consent to us collecting information from your Contact List, we use your Contact List to help consider you for a membership or to suggest those from your Contact List who could serve as a referral;
- Personalize your experience with us;
- Send you technical notices, security alerts, support messages and other transactional or relationship messages;
- Communicate with you about products, services, and events offered by Rumor or Brands and others and provide news and information that we think will interest you (see the Your Choices section below for information about how to opt out of these communications at any time);
- Provide and administer our referral program;
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services, including to understand Member reach;
- Detect, investigate, and help prevent security incidents and other malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity and help protect the rights and property of Rumor and others;
- Comply with our legal and financial obligations;
- Create de-identified, anonymized or aggregated information; and
- Carry out any other purpose described to you at the time the information was collected.
3.DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
- When you engage with us as a Non-Member or Member, you intentionally interact with our Brands and direct us to disclose your information to Brands to be invited to their events or be included in their promotions. Brands will use your information in accordance with their privacy policies.
- We disclose personal information with vendors that access personal information to perform work for us, such as companies that assist us with web hosting, payment processing, fraud prevention, and customer service.
- If you provide a review, participate in an event, or otherwise disclose content on our Services, we may disclose this information publicly on our Services.
- If you choose to use integrations we offer on our Services, such as connecting your social media accounts (e.g., Facebook or Google), we may disclose certain information with the integration partners.
- We may disclose Member and Non-Member personal information and other information you provide at your direction to Brands for their own services and marketing purposes.
- We may disclose personal information if we believe that disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
- We may disclose personal information if we believe that your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, if we believe that you have violated the law, or if we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of Rumor, our users, the public, or others.
- We disclose personal information to our lawyers and other professional advisors where necessary to obtain advice or otherwise protect and manage our business interests.
- We may disclose personal information in connection with, or during negotiations concerning, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.

The information we collect from you varies depending on the way you use our Services. Rumor is a members-only application that connects approved members (Members(s)
) with prominent brands (Brand(s)
) to allow Brands to invite Members to events and otherwise connect with Members. In some instances, Rumor will engage with non-Members (Non-Members
) to either consider them for a membership or invite them to certain events. When you provide your information as a Member or Non-Member, the information we collect and use is different from the information we collect if you are Brand or authorized user of a Brand. Below, we describe the different ways we might collect information from you.
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide directly to us.
Non-Members
For example, when you use our services as a Non-Member, you provide information directly to us when you sign up for emails or other communications from us or send us content relating to a Brand, fill out a form, or otherwise communicate or interact with us.
The types of personal information we may collect include your name, email address, postal address, phone number, social media handles, and any other information you choose to provide. If you as a Non-Member apply to be a Member, with your consent, we will collect the personal information stored in your device's “Contacts

Members
When you use our services as a Member, you provide information directly to us when you use our Services, register for an account with us, fill out a form, submit payment information, send communications to us or content relating to a Brand, or otherwise communicate or interact with us.
The types of personal information we may collect include your name, email address, postal address, phone number, picture, social media handles, and any other information you choose to provide.
Additionally, we may work with a third-party payment processor, such as Stripe or Apple Pay, to collect and process your payment information.
Brands
If you are a Brand, we collect certain personal information from you and/or your authorized users of our services in order to facilitate our business relationship with you and provide you our products and services (collectively,Brand Information
).
Brand Information we may collect from you and/or your authorized users includes: name, business name, business phone number, job title, email address associated with your business, postal and billing address, and credit card or payment information.
We also collect information a Brand chooses to provide or requests that we collect on its behalf relating to its own interactions with Members, Non-Members, or individuals that it serves (Brand Consumer(s)
). Brands can interact with Brand Consumer's directly through Rumor's Services, including through chat tools or providing questionnaires. Brands must provide any required notices and collect any necessary consents before collecting or disclosing any such information (collectivelyBrand Consumer Information
) to us. Brands determine what Brand Consumer Information they collect from their Brand Consumers, and to the extent Rumor receives that information, we do so on behalf of our Brands. In some instances, Rumor may collect information from Brand Consumers on behalf of Brands in conjunction with or at the same time that it collects the same or similar information from Members and Non-Members. This Privacy Policy applies as described to Non-Members, Members, and Brands, and the Brands' privacy policy will apply to their Brand Consumer Information, however collected.

Information We Collect from Other Sources
We obtain information from other sources. For example, we may collect information from mailing list providers and social networks. We may also obtain information from Brands, Members, and Non-Member through referrals. Additionally, if you create or log into your Rumor account through a third-party platform (such as Facebook or Google), we will have access to certain information from that platform, such as your name, birthday, and profile picture, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by such platform.
Information We Derive
We may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we collect. For example, we may make inferences about your approximate location based on your IP address or infer that you are looking to purchase certain products based on your event activity, browsing behavior, and past purchases.
Links to Brands and Third Parties Sites
Brands may be able to interact with you through our Services and collect information from you through our Services or through links to Brands' website. We may also make available links to other third party sites or services. Rumor is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or availability of Brands or other third parties with whom you interact or whose sites or services you visit. Please be advised that if you enter into a transaction on a Brand site or other third party site, Rumor does not represent the Brand, third party, or you. Further, the privacy and security policies of the linked site or Brand may differ from those practiced by us and are not our responsibility.
